Vladimir Marinkovic

National Assembly Deputy Speaker, Serbia

Vladimir Marinkovic, PhD, is a research fellow at the Institute of Agricultural Economics, an associate professor at the John Naisbitt University and associate professor at the Independent University of Banja Luka.

He is an author of a university textbook, two monographs and numerous scientific and expert papers in relevant domestic and foreign journals on economy, management and entrepreneurship.
Since May 2012 Mr Marinkovic served as MP at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and from 2014-2016 as National Assembly Deputy Speaker, member of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy, member of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, deputy member of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending.

He also serves as Head of the NARS Economic Caucus, Chair of the NARS Parliamentary Group for Open Parliament, Chair of the Subcommittee for the Consideration of Reports on Audits Conducted by the State Audit Institution, as well as Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
